Aside: The cover photo looks a little spooky Length: Print, pages. Q – What was the Amazon Rank on the date this review was published? A – , Q – How was this book obtained? A – Purchased at Amazon. Q – Is this a book that I can read without having to read others first? Q – Is this a fast, easy read or is it more of a leisure read?

Q – What sort of language does this writer use to amplify the points made? No wry humor or profanities. Q – My biggest pleasure or disappointment? A – The writing is a bit difficult to comprehend while reading, but this is typical of tutorials.

Possibly, this could be better presented as a Keynote or as a Power Point presentation, perhaps in conjunction with YouTube principles. As a Kindle book, though, it not very useful. Blending noticeable is exactly what it says; every visible layer those with “eyecons” indicating is converged into one complete layer, which is presently inseparable.

Blend Visible is found in the same spot as Merge Down. It should be possible through console charges also: order shift-E for Mac clients, ctrl shift E for PC clients. Imperative tip: choice clicking alt-clicking for PC clients on any layer’s “eyecon” will conceal every single other layer. Rehashing that stride will demonstrate all layers once more. This is helpful when you just need to union a layers’ couple, it permits you to shroud the larger part of them rather rapidly.

It additionally helps in perceiving how far you’ve come in making conformities in the event that you have numerous layers over the foundation picture you can flip on and off the work’s majority you’ve done.

Bottom Line: I applaud the author for his attempt. However, I did not find this to be the sort of presentation that is helpful to me. In fact, I could not follow I his instructions at all. I actually felt like I was going backwards, in part by his writing style, and in part by to few visuals. Therefore, I can rate this only two stars.

Comments regarding your opinion of this book or of my review, whether favorable or unfavorable, are always welcome. If you buy the book based on my review and become disappointed, especially, I do want to know that and I want to understand how I can improve as a book reviewer.

Just please be polite. Thank you. Who doesn’t know Adobe Photoshop? Even just the word “photoshop”? It is a very helpful tool in editing especially those on the media. I’m not an expert on photoshop so it is just my protocol to read about it and I’m not disappointed with this book because it’s direct to the point and goes to the reader’s level and not use jargons just to make it sound complicated.

It’s been about 7 years since I’ve used Photoshop, so this was a good refresher. I even learned a few new things I didn’t know before. The screenshots were a great reference; I wish there were more in the second half of the book. Still, the written directions are very good. I give it 4 stars. This book on Photoshop is really thorough and gave lots of really great information. I’m creating some graphic materials for my sister’s baby shower and needed some guidance on how to get a few specific things done, and this book had exactly what I needed and much more.

Highly recommended. Only 13 very very small images of extreme poor quality in black and white and only visible with magnifying loupe. For beginners I prefer bigger books in the style of Scott Kelby and others.

I was very dissappointed. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Rubbish for beginners. It is not a guide in my opinion.
