We are trying to use psexec to execute an. This works fine with all XP machines and displays the message but on Windows 7 machines a black window is displayed instead.

Any ideas on how to get this to execute normally on Windows 7? Try it on an XP machine with IE9. See if it fails. If it does, then it’s IE9 you need to troubleshoot. Tried executing via wscript and now the hta comes up blank on xp machines, with or without domain credentials.

Also, for psexec authentication to work, I believe the user you pass must have been logged in to the machine before. Try the local admin account, or some other account you think may be on all machines.
