Yes, you can use a subwoofer with our powered speakers, but the subwoofer must also be self-powered. You will need an RCA Y-splitter. Note that speakers without a sub-out do not have a low-pass filter, so they will continue to play bass frequencies when connected to the subwoofer. This is possible but only if the audio source is capable of dual Bluetooth audio.

If your device does not have this capability you can purchase an external Bluetooth splitter transmitter from many online retailers. This issue is usually caused by a tracking issue on the turntable. To test if it is the turntable at fault or the speakers, reverse the RCA jacks on the control speaker, red to white and white to red.

If the issue now occurs on the other speaker, it is the turntable at fault. Please contact your turntable manufacturer for instructions on how to properly set the tracking. If the issue remains on the same channel it is problem. Please contact our customer service team for troubleshooting and assistance.

Make sure the Bluetooth input is selected, you can do this one of two ways. With the speaker remote, press the button with the Bluetooth symbol or you can click-in the volume knob on the control speaker to cycle through the inputs. If the speakers have an LED indicator the light will turn blue, if they have a screen the Bluetooth symbol will appear, you will now be able to pair a device. If you are able to pair, but are still not getting audio please check that the volume is up on both the Bluetooth device and the speakers.

Disconnect any previously paired devices. Press and hold the volume knob down on the control speaker for seconds. Then pair with the speakers from your Bluetooth device.

Try resetting the Bluetooth chip to factory settings. Please unplug the speakers for at least ten minutes to allow for the capacitors to fully drain.

Then plug the speakers back in, select the Bluetooth input, and pair your device with the speakers. Self-powered speakers require a Pre-amp to boost the phono signal to a line-level. Many modern turntables come with a built-in switchable pre-amp. Usually the switch to turn on the pre-amp is either on the back of the turntable, or underneath the platter. The accessories page should have a listing for the remote. Check that the optical input is selected on the speakers, for speakers with an LED indicator the light will be red, for speakers with a screen, OPT will be displayed.

This can usually be done by going into the audio settings, or advanced audio settings, on the TV menu. If you cannot find the setting for your particular brand and model of TV, please contact the manufacturer, they will easily be able to walk you through the process of switching to PCM. Are the speakers plugged into a working outlet and the master power switch on the active speaker is switched to on? Can you try the speakers with a few different outlets? Is the LED indicator on the speaker no longer coming on once you do this?

If the speakers are turning on can you try using them with a few different inputs and audio sources to see if you can get them to play? Also be sure to check the the input you are using to connect to the speakers is selected using the remote or volume knob.

From the source you will want to run 2 RCA single male to dual female RCA splitters, one in the left channel one in the right channel. Using 4 single male-to-male RCA cables Tip: if you have 2 dual male-to-male RCA cables you can split them down the middle to get 4 singles , run a left channel to the subwoofer and left channel to the speakers.

Using the other 2 male-to-male RCA cables run one right channel to the speakers, and one right channel to the subwoofer.

Most Bluetooth receivers have Bluetooth input only, meaning you can stream from your audio device to the receiver and it will output the sound through a wired connection.

Some receivers do have Bluetooth output, but it is not common. Please confirm with the receiver manufacturer if your model has Bluetooth output. To get it back on and have the ability to pair with the speakers these are the steps: 1. Locate the volume knob on the active speaker. Click the volume knob in very quickly, like you are clicking a computer mouse.

Each click will cycle between the inputs, once the LED indicator light is blue the Bluetooth input will be selected.

Pair your device with the speakers. You can switch the inputs by clicking the volume knob on the control speaker. This will cycle through the different inputs. First, check if your device requires a driver update.

The Device Manager workaround doesn’t work for me, or I should say it does immediately after installing it, I’m able to change the volume normally but when I go into a game or movie the headphones just reset and don’t work after that, I have to repair again and it over writes with it’s own driver again.

The master volume is what is shown on the screen in the taskbar, and volume controllers on hardware, ie a keyboard with volume controller, use the master volume to control the sound from speakers. This could be considered a work around, but not a fix.
